Wireless

Wireless technology for Internet access is rapidly spreading throughout the world. It will not be long until every corner of the globe is connected to the Internet via Wi-Fi. Portable laptop computers are produced, manufactured and released in a steady stream with upgraded 802.11 a/b/n connectivity chipsets, enabling technical and non-technical users to connect to the Internet via speedy wireless connections. Bluetooth technology allows a wireless protocol for connectivity and is specifically designed for electronic applications less than 30 feet in distance from the host site.

Wireless connectivity is used by professionals in IT, in large business organizations and for home use. Connecting to the Internet with a wireless connection is fast becoming the preferred way to access the Internet. The convenience of wireless connections and the practicality of the initial set-up and maintenance of wireless services is an industry that is growing and developing rapidly as Bluetooth technology expands. Most peripherals can be connected wirelessly to a desktop computer or notebook using Bluetooth technology, creating a cleaner and more practical work environment for all users. Understanding wireless security encryption and developing a secure system of connectivity is essential to prevent data theft and establishing sound security measures within wireless connection.
