Is vista better than XP???

This is a discussion on Is vista better than XP??? within the Windows forums, part of the Operating Systems category; I'm Using WIN XP now... But never used Win Vista... Now I want to use this vista... Before I Install ...

    Is vista better than XP???

    I'm Using WIN XP now...
    But never used Win Vista...

    Now I want to use this vista...
    Before I Install Vista, I just wanted to ask you guys,
    Is this a good operating system, as compared to Win XP...??

    Go for Windows 7, the new operating system from Microsoft.

    I totally agree with techvinny. Windows 7 is by far the best so far! uses less RAM than Vista also.

    Ya 7 is more user friendly and powerful than Vista!! But in the END XP is the best of all Microsoft's OSes.

    XP is way better then Vista. Vista is worse OS every made by windows. If you want to upgrade then Window & is the best option for you.

    use XP with service pack 3.
    But few older hardware does not configure properly with it. In that case use service pack 2

    Aesthetically and with media, it probably is but for sheer computing, I would have to lean toward windows xp here.

    I think that vista was just too much of a resource block that it makes the computer process programs slower. If you are looking to get Vista, I would suggest that you go for windows 7 instead.
