Quality Control makes sure that whatever we have done, is as per the requirements.
Quality Control is product oriented.
Quality Control is the responsibility of tester.

Quality Assurance measures the quality of processess used to create quality product.
Quality Assurance makes sure that we are doing the right things in the right way.
Quality Assurance is process oriented.
Quality Assurance is the responsibility of entire team.
