Is there an Architecture Description Language suitable for web applications?
Anyone know of any Architecture Description Languages (ADLs) that are useful
for describing interactive web applications/n-tier applications? I'm looking
into the C2 SADL (http://www.isr.uci.edu/architecture/adl/SADL.html) but I'm
not sure of its applicability. Does anyone on this list have any practical
experience using ADLs that they wouldn't mind sharing?
Thanks,
STA

You can try EventStudio for architecture description. EventStudio
uses FDL (Feature Design Language) for modeling the system architecture
and generating sequence diagrams, use case diagrams and collaboration
diagrams.
For details, please visit:

I have looked at ADLs and it seems as though work has slowed ion them
somewhat. To describe apps I would suggest you take a look at the UML.
