trying to create basic, 2 page 'site'

hi,

i am learning and trying to createa 2 page site, one where someone logs in against an access database, if validated they go to the members only page, if not they stay on default.aspx and get told they are not a member.
on the members page, it displays their name from the db and their last visit date and time, along with the count of times. any help?
i have some code but not sure how to implement all the way.
