How to connect to Internet

Hi All:

I got HP Pavillion a1209n desk top with windows xp professional licensed installed in C drive and Linux Fedora 5 installed in drive J.

I could not connect to internet in Linux as I need drivers for HP machine with Linksys Network adaptor.

Could someone throw more light please...

First check out if your network card is already there ..... Use :

ifconfig eth0 ... type this in command prompt ! and report back what it says
