Hit me on the value of function kbhit ()

Hi All,
Can somebody highlight me on what does the function kbhit() return. I like to use this in my code based on the return value. But I am struck without knowing what values the function would return.

Hi,
Though I do not know the each value what the function would return if the function kbhit() cold be used in decision making process then definitely it would return TRUE or FALSE value only namely 0 or 1. Somebody take part in this discussion and put your ideas in this.
