Disable the button

Hi,
I have coded set_item_property('block.fieldname',DISPLAYED,PORPERTY_OFF) in the WHEN-NEW-BLOCK-INSTANCE trigger of custom library for OSP (JAIN57F4) form. But the result is still it allows to click on the button ( Button is APPROVE_DESPATCH). Can someone get me an answer to do the same?

I would suggest you to check the custom events .
