Key Flexfield - How to get rid of?

Hi,

the company I`m working for don`t need 12 "Key Flexfield Segments" (item categories) anymore.

I know how to end date/disable values and segments but I don`t know how to remove the item category from the LOV. I don`t need to delete it but I could if there is no other way. My goal is to remove the categories from the LOV under INVENTORY-MASTER ITEMS- Tools-->Categories

As per my understanding, the change in the number of segments in the key flexfield may cause a negative impact.

Please be more specific, are the segments already in use or you have just created those.

To remove values from the list of values, you can just uncheck the enable flag. This will remove the value from lov.
