Where are some good tutorials for ASP.NET that use Javascript/Jscript instead of Visual Basic.

Also, do you think it's easier to learn ASP before ASP.NET

dont know what you mean by asp versus asp.net asp.net is dealing with the newer version/portions of asp, which is much easier and powerful now than before. asp.net will utilize java however you still need to program in vb, c#, C++, etc.
microsoft has some good tutorials which are free for learning.
