Is it possible to install Windows Vista along with Windows XP? If so what are the steps to be followed. Kindly guide me on this process.

Yes the users may try this option if they want to try out testing or have a feel of windows vista without foregoing their existing XP operating system.

As suggested by Rahul it can be done by using the technique of dual-boot configuration. Using this type of configuration, users can easily experiment with Windows Vista and still use Windows XP.

To add to this discussion I have given below some prerequisites for carrying out the dual-boot configuration.
The first main requirement needed for carrying out dual-boot configuration to install Windows Vista along with existing XP operating system is the second partition on user existing hard disk or a second hard disk in their system.
The space that must be available in this second partition on hard disk or secondary hard disk must be a minimum of 20 GB to 40 GB of space to carry out the process of dual-boot configuration.
This is a very interesting discussion going on. I have got the prerequisites as suggested by Ralph. Can you guide me the steps for carrying out the dual-boot configuration. I am waiting eagerly to carry out the process.
