Data Type in Informix

What are the data types that are supported by Informix database? I specifically want to know whether Informix supports BLOB data type.

Informix supports both build in data types and extended data types. That is in summary the data types supported by Informix are character, numeric, time, TEXT, BYTE. If something is left someone kindly point it out.

Apart from the one mentioned by Rahul there are few more data types supported by Informix and they are BLOB, CLOB, LVARCHAR.
