try this ...
go to services and change Oracle Services from automatic to manual...
reboot your PC , leave it for few mins until all other services starts , then go to services, start Oracle processes one by one ...
How much memory do you have ... ?
did you try increasing paging file size ?
Thanks,

Hi,
Decrease the sga size in init.ora. And check other parameters that effect SGA.
Then start the DB.
Hope it helps.
Prakash.

In order to install 10g Exp edition u must increase the memory space of the
target disk to approx 4GB .Therfor install it on E:\ or D:\ drive making its space larger. After you have installed that then u can use the space of the disk.
