I heard through my friend that we can access our home PCs from anywhere using Dynamic DNS for free. What is this concept of Dynamic DNS and how it helps us to access fro anywhere?

I think we cannot use much bandwidth with while accessing home PCs from anywhere using Dynamic DNS for free. Apart from this restriction there are quite a lot of features like building and accessing our site, accessing our system from remote place, hosting our own server and many more we can achieve using this technology.

I know that Dynamic DNS allow accessing home PCs by allowing the name of the IP address and not using the number of IP address. But is it not that this reduces the security of usage in web based system? How is the security handling handled in this aspect?

I just change the CNAME entries on my domain name and I find that that fit my needs.
