Need Help in Recovery

One of my friend has tried by mistake typing rm - rf & / and so all the files have gone. I want to do data recovery. Is the full data recovery possible? Kindly suggest a best and quick solution for my problem to get resolved.

Oh that was a great mistake done by you friend because typing rm - rf & / would remove all your files and also your friend has given the command from root and so even your root file system is deleted. The best suggestion or alternative to resolve your problem is to go for reinstallation of you operating system and then try the backup of data from the latest backup stored in your backup procedures.
