QTP not recording the actions(URGENT)

Hi friends,

I have downloaded QTP in windows Vista..
When I click on the record button and open the Flight Application it is not recording the SystemUtil.Run function for example when i play my record button and open the application and then after closing it when i Stop recording ...

Dialog("Login").WinEdit("Agent Name:").Set "hello"
Dialog("Login").WinEdit("Agent Name:").Type micTab
Dialog("Login").WinEdit("Password:").SetSecure "468317b8727d801b7053881e"
Dialog("Login").WinButton("Cancel").Click

So here you can notice that it has not captured the movements when i click on the start button and then click on the application it captures from the step when the application is open.

I have to write systemUtil funtion manually.... really dont know why its happening.

Although in Record and Run Setting I have selected
Record or run test on any open browser
record and run test on any window based application.

Please help me out i tried so many times but not able to get the problem...

Do the following steps to solve the issue

1. Go to Automation from Tool bar
2. select Record and Run Setting
3. Select Record or run test on any open browser from Web Tab
4. Select Web Application Tab from Record and Run Setting Dialog box.
5. Select Record and only on Option button and select the first and last checkbox.
6. click "+" button and give the application exe path ""C:\Program Files\Mercury Interactive\QuickTest Professional\samples\flight\app\flight4a.exe"" and working folder path "C:\Program Files\Mercury Interactive\QuickTest Professional\samples\flight\app"
7. check both checkbox in the daialog box.
8.click ok
9. click record, now you will get the login screen.

MY flight application is working now coz of your solution but my internet explorer is not working
I pasted "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" but my QTP is not reading the browser or the actions which i perform in my browser...

One more thing when i paste this "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"
and record the actions in Mozzilla the my QTP is recoding the actions.But while running it is giving me some problem also..

I am not able to understand that why my QTP is not able to record the action which i perform in Internet explorer.

Please help me out.
