Using Quick Test Professional (QTP 10.0)

Hi Everyone..

Basically I am working for a Software company wherein the company size is 10-15. We develop applications on Oracle Forms 10g and Power builder platforms, And we work mainly on 2-Tier applications. We are not using any automation tools as of now..

But Company is now thinking of using Automation tool QTP [10.0]. Kindly let me know the approximate price of the tool.. And can we improve the product quality through this tool...Also let me know the benefits of cost to use?

Or Shall we start with any Test Managment or defect tracking tools like QC or any other open source tools.
