Qualification

BE, B.Tech, MCA

Role Description

Test engineer will be part of the development team/Test project and conduct Black box testing between product releases, Perform quality control gating for releases, act as the customer to development

Experience

2-4 Yrs of experience

Technical skills

Testing of Products/Applications on Windows platforms / Linux/ Mac OS

Desirable - Knowledge of programming and scripting languages - Python, VBScript or equivalent scripting tools

Soft Skills

Problem solving skills, Analytical skills, attention to detail. Strong interpersonal, communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities

Develop test case specifications by understanding requirements and technical risks associated with the feature and provide inputs for test plan, Execution of test plans, procedures using test programs, scripts and tools.

Documenting test results, defect reports, test procedure, configuration for features. Timely escalation of defects, risks, limitations and issues to Test lead. Provide test status, Attend review meetings.
