Solaris or SAP

Hi!
I am in a training at consultants. Should I go for the Solaris system administration training or SAP. I think SAP pays more. I have exprience with C and java. Should I go for c++?. I am not a avid programmer. I also know about database, SQL.

I am in a big dilemma.

Re:Solaris or SAP

my choice would be to start with solaris which is bit difficult then SAP but you will enjoy life. Once you are comfortable with Solaris and Oracle, jump on to SAP admin with 4 week training.

Re:Solaris or SAP

Thank you for your reply !

I would appreciate if you could ellaborate your advice further.
In your response, you meant that
1]take a training on Solaris administration/take a job/project in Solaris after
working as a Solaris Administration, take a training for a SAP, or

2] take a training in Solaris, then take a training on SAP, then start working as a SAP Admin?
Which one do you mean?

Furthermore, I would appreciate if you could advice me in detail,

I know basic Linux/Unix. I know c, Java, database. I have done one and half years of MBA course ( such as accounting, economics, managerial accounting, managerial economics, marketing). right now I am doing training for Solaris admin. Currnetly I am soing CBT on UNIX, Advance UNIX and on Solaris. Other frineds who have already started training tell me that I should go for c++, since I can get a job within 20 days. System Administration is a very hard job. Some friends also says that SAP is the best since it pays a lot of money thought it takes 3 months of training. Time is not a big deal, I can wait for three months. I heard in unix/system admin, the pay is not that much compare to SAP.

What should I do? I can work very hard.

People usually tell me that I should do what I am interested in. I don\'t know what I am interested in. I get bored with a thing within a 6-7 months. Right now all I am thinking about paying a big debt here in usa and back home. I am looking for more money. I know the c++ training and placement is going to take only a month. SAP is going to take 2-3 months. I am not in hurry. If I get more income, then I am ready wairt for 3 more months. I haven\'t touched SAP before. I just started reading about it in Exforsys.com.

Your honest ( and blunt) advice/opinion will be greatly appreciated. No hard feeling will be taken. If you are uncomfortable posting your advice here, you can email me at wildkid 98 at hotmail, no space.

The system administration itraining I am in is chosen by my trainer. I am thinking to talk to him again tomorrow. I just started training 4 days ago.

Thanks !

-Pradip
