Title: Network Systems Engineer
Contract Duration: 3 months
Location: Hopewell, New Jersey

Minimum Requirements:
Windows Network Engineer

· Minimum five years experience and in depth knowledge of
Microsoft Windows Server Platform (NT4 and 2000).
· Strong experience with MS Cluster Server, MS IIS, Active
Directory and MS DNS.
· Thorough knowledge of standard networking topologies and protocols.
· Strong troubleshooting skills.
· Strong organizational, communication and documentation skills.
· Experience with MS Terminal Server, Citrix Metaframe Server,
MS SMS< MS DFS, and MS SQL Server a plus.
· Experience with HP Proliant Industry Standard Servers a plus.
· Experience with SAN technologies a plus.
· Experience with Windows 2003 Server a plus.
· Experience with Altiris or HP Rapid Deployment Pack a plus.
· Ability to create project plans a plus.
· Experience with Microsoft Solutions Framework and/or Rational
Unified Process a plus.

Candidate will:

· Provide integration, testing and documentation in support of
the infrastructure and application development teams within the
Merrill Lynch Investment Managers Technology Group.
· Document and review client requirements and project proposals
in conjunction with Integration Managers, Production Support, and
Infrastructure Strategy.
· Create technical architecture, Windows Server system
configuration, test plans and work effort estimates for infrastructure
and application development projects.
· Installations, administration, maintenance, troubleshooting,
and tuning of Windows Server Operating Systems and associated
components within a complex global environment.
· Provide detailed documentation on system configurations and
installation procedures to assist in knowledge transfer to Production
Support team.
· Keep current on future technology trends and provide technical
roadmaps for infrastructure products.
· Participate in evaluations of new hardware and software.
