A large Indian IT company with excellent track record in multiple domains including finance, has contacted us to help them recruit some finance professionals. These professionals would be engaged in QA related activities in IT.



Requirement Details

Location – Mumbai

Educational Qualifications – CA/ CFA/ MBA (Finance) or equivalent PG in Finance

Type of position – Fulltime Employee or Temporary



Primary Skills

· Knowledge of Capital Market systems, products, settlement, and order execution

· Excellent written and oral communication skills

· Experience in Functional Testing / Technical Testing of large, web based, mission critical applications in BFSI space

· Familiar with SDLC and development/delivery process and software maintenance (production support)

· Familiar with Testing process and methodology – including defect tracking

· Hands on experience of having used Defect tracking tools like Clear Quest, Rational

· Clear concepts about RDBMS systems

· Working knowledge of SQL language (select queries etc)



Secondary Skills

· Should have worked in Banks, Financial Institutions in trading, execution, or operations areas

· Should have exposure to Capital Markets domain

· Should have some exposure to securities trading and settlement practices



Work Experience

· In Securities Industry from trade initiation to settlement (Equities and Fixed Income), Portfolio Accounting, Mutual Fund Back office operations

· Strong Accounting Skills/Concepts associated with the cash flows related to trading in the above Instruments. (Investment Banking Accounting / Fund Accounting)

· Good Knowledge of Cash Flows associated with trading in the above products during each stage of the Trade Life Cycle.
