Responsibilities include leading and supporting projects and associates to ensure that the applications meet the requirements of the business clients; reviewing and providing guidance to the development work of others; overseeing production support activities and application environments; acting as the liaison with Technical Architecture and other ITG associates; may complete a limited amount of complex development or configuration work. May be responsible for supervising associates with development skills in Lotus Notes, MS Access, or other tools. Hiring Criteria: - Hands-on technical knowledge of PeopleSoft HRMS 8.0SP1 (HR, Benefits, PI, Recruiting), PeopleSoft development tools (Peoplecode, SQR, PL/SQL,Component Interface) and PeopleSoft reporting tools (PS query, Crystal). Experience with SAP HR as well is a MAJOR PLUS. - 3-5 years in a leadership position with demonstrated ability in leading teams through coaching and guidance, including setting expectations, assessing performance, and guiding associate development - Demonstrated project management skills, from business case through post-implementation support - Thorough knowledge of application/system development methodology and design - Strong communication skills with technical associates and business clients; strong ability to build and sustain working relationships with business clients; strong meeting facilitation skills - Good judgment in decision-making, escalating issues, and when communicating with business clients; strong problem solving skills - Strong skills in resource planning and triaging incoming work - Working knowledge of MS Office products and MS Access, development/reporting tools in either PeopleSoft or SAP, familiarity with Lotus Notes development - Experience working with Human Resources and HR applications, and knowledge of major HR business processes, is strongly preferred.
