I am a 2006 fresher,I would like to make a career in testing.Please let me know what are the topics I need to cover for facing interview,also it would be of great help if you could suggest some good institutes with reliable placement assistance in Bangalore.

Greetings!!!Wish u a happy new year...Regarding your question....my opinion. No need to join software testing course in any institutes... If u have Fortitude definitly you will become a good software test engineer...based upon ur confident..

Try to collect the software testing materials in various web sites also update software engineering and software testing concepts, lot of notes and matterials are avail in net. I will let u know those sites,

BUY Manual software testing book by Ron pattern
read it for more then 2 month first do this any write test cases as much as u can
