I have one interesting and small question in English language which I am not aware of. Are there any categories or types of adjectives in English language? If so what are they? How they differ from each other.

The basic types of adjectives are:
Opinion adjective
Size adjective
Age adjective
Shape adjective
Color adjective
Origin adjective
Material adjective
Purpose adjective

I am giving you the explanation of the types of adjectives mentioned above:

Opinion adjective:
This adjective explains what a person thinks about something.

Size adjective:
This adjective explains how big or small something is.

Age adjective:
These adjective points out how young or old something or someone is.

Shape adjective:
This adjective describes the shape of something.


Color adjective:
This adjective describes the color of something.

Origin adjective:
This adjective describes where something comes from.

Material adjective:
This adjective describes what something is made from.

Purpose adjective:
This adjective describes what something is used for.

This is a very interesting discussion. To add to this I have given examples for you to understand each of this type of adjective:
Opinion adjective:
Some examples of this type of adjective are easy, difficult

Size adjective:
Some example of this type of adjective is large, little

Age adjective:
Some example of this type of adjective are young, old


Shape adjective:
Some example of this type of adjective is round, square

Color adjective:
Some example of this type of adjective are blue, green

Origin adjective:
Some examples of this type of adjective are Latin, French

Material adjective:
Some examples of this type of adjective are cotton, glass

Purpose adjective:
Some examples of this type of adjective are sleeping.
