Hi Friend!

Test Plan
1) Normally performed during SRS.
2) The plan is based on
*Objectives --- what is the expected outcomes of testing?
*Scope ---What to test & what not to test?
*Strategy ---Choice from alternate ways of acheiving objectives.

Hello,

Following are the some contents of a test plan
  1. Title
  2. Identification of software including version/release numbers
  3. Revision history of document including authors, dates, approvals
  4. Table of Contents
  5. Purpose of document, intended audience
  6. Objective of testing effort
  7. Software product overview
  8. Relevant related document list, such as requirements, design documents, other test plans, etc.

Hi,
Test Plan is a detailed project plan document for testing activities which includes the scope of testing, types of testing, the tasks to be performed by each tester, resources like hardware, software and testing tools, schedules, risks, features to be tested and not be tested, acceptance criteria, suspension criteria, testing approach and training needed for testers.

A test plan is a systematic approach to testing a system such as a machine or software. The plan typically contains a detailed understanding of what the eventual work flow will be.

hi tirumn

Please tell me about this for example you have to test a field in which 0 to 1000 values have to be entered using BVA can we create any scripts and run for 1000 manually? please help me with this
