Hi all,
I am applying for jobs in the testing field..the description of one opportunity that i was looking at is

This position is for someone that can write and execute scripts in Quality Center.
3+ years of QA experience
Mercury Tools
MS Outlook
MS Visio
MS Word
MS Excel
MS PowerPoint

does writing scripts in QC mean just writing test cases and processes or does it mean writing VB Script that cud be used in automated tools like QTP.

Please let me know what u think so I cud prepare myself appropriately. I have basic scripting knowlegde in QTP not the advanced discriptive programming.

To work with quality center u should be must aware with the QTP script.if u have a good knowledge in QTP script language then u can suitable for this job. because 3+ yrs experience means a expert in it.

Hi,
I think the requirement is for medium level expertise tester who has knowledge on using Quality Center and little bit of knowledge on Scripting. I think u can apply for it and also make sure to be familiar with running scripts from Quality Center and to face more questions on Quality Center and Scripting part.
