information for getting a pr through student visa

please someone help me on this!!!

i wanted to get a student visa for autralia and then after two years of study to apply for the PR.

i am from pakistan,have completed my mba from pakistan with majors in marketing i would like to apply for another mba in human resourse managemet in australia.

i wanted to know if going for a masters degree in human resource eventually help me get a pr?

i have a brother living in melbourne he now has become an australian citizen. would his status help me in any way?


i have recently gotten engaged to be married by december 2007 how would this effect my chances of getting a visa ?

my husband to be is currently doing his masters in engineering from the chicago institute of technology, usa.he is to graduate by the end of this year.is it possible for him to get a visa as well? we both our 25 years old.we both belong to pakistan.

with this information i would like to know my chances of getting a student visa and then gettting the PR.
or are there some other ways we can migrate to australia?
