Keeping in Touch with Friends

It is very difficult to keep track of your friend these days. With so many people moving around the country either for work or to continue their relationships, it is harder to keep in touch with your high school and college friends. However, if you always want a lasting link to your friends here are a few tips on keeping in touch.

Make sure you write and call regularly. It doesn’t have to be every day or every week, but it is a good idea to contact all your friends at least once or month or when something worth talking about comes up. Many people move frequently and keeping track of several people is not easy. With today’s technology though, you can easily keep track of your best friends.

Email is always a good idea and you easily send out a message to a group of people all at once. All your friends might all be on the same email group so that you can chat with one another and keep everyone in the loop.

If you travel a lot, then send your friends a post card at every new town that you visit. Postcards are a great way to keep in touch and are usually saved for a long time. So if you value your friendships, keep in touch with either emails or postcards.

Not only email can we use today for us to be in touch with our old friends. There are sites that really makes us closer together and even know more about our friends. I have joined 3 of these friends website, one of them is friendster.com. I could even see there latest pictures or videos posted through this website.

Technology really makes us far from each other where transportation can separate us with our friends in just a matter of days, if not hours. But at the same time, technology also made a way to make us closer even we are distant from each other.

Distance is a test if your friendship is really that close. You have no excuse for not keeping in touch with your friend because today, the technology has given us the advantage of communicating through our friends with many mediums like the internet and celphones. Even the old fashioned letter writing is still a good way to keep in touch with your friends.
