when I started typing, I tought myself many years ago on a program my dad brought home from work on a floppy disk!

At first I thought it was extremly hard, but got the hang of it and now I type over 75 Words per minute!

I can type same range about 70 Words per minute ..
I am looking forward to double my speed ... maybe by time I spend online i will reache 140 WPM

I've actually been trying to get up past 100 words per minute, but can't find the strength to do so! lol

True! Though I type 75 WPM, I feel foolish when I sit down beside someone and they are typing nearly 3X faster than what I am lol.

Well I started typing when I was in elementary with this words over and over again "the quick little brown fox jumps over the lazy dog near the bank of the river". And within two weeks, I found myself accepting typing jobs from my classmates. Oh, by the way, that time... I think they are still trying to introduce computers in our country. But now a days, I do believe that having a good typing skill is not just a "skill", its more of a necessity.

ive learned to type fast and error free by joining chat rooms that require frequent interaction with other people..

its a good way to start, especially when ure the type who easily gets bored..

Yeah, I agree. Chatrooms are a good way to exercise your typing skills. It is also a good way to know and interact with other people through net.

You sure are fast typist guys there was a time when I got bored and tried to switch off the monitor and keep typing guess what I was about your range chat yeah it will help you type fast since in my experience ive'd been macking 10 windows at the same time talking to 10 different girls and trying to catch up with the conversation well it was successful now my typing skill helps a lot.
