Career Opportunities With a Bachelor of Arts Degree

In the late 20th century, technology increased exponentially, while productivity (the amount of wealth created per capita) did not keep pace. What does this mean to someone determining whether or not to get a liberal arts degree? It means that, while technological change in society is inevitable, it’s only ONE factor in economic growth. Even more, the workplace of today is one that is constantly changing.

This link might be the same with the other one marky. Please post the correct link so we can view the whole article.

As for Bachelor of Arts, there are still who are taking them. Though most of them nowadays are not much of demand, they can still find a job with the integration of some technology.

For example, fine arts students can use their skills in video gaming companies with the help of graphic programming languages.

I think the important thing in college is that you have finished a course. When looking for a job already, any course can do a job for as long you know exactly what you will in that job. Like father who finished management but have worked as a medical representative of SmithKline Beecham(Now Glaxo-SmithKline). He used his sales skills to sell medicines.

So whatever your course in college, just finish and make good of it and who knows what you would become in the future.

I agree with you encoder. But even if you finish a course in college, select the course that you think will make you happy while doing it as a job already. Don't get a course because of the big salary of it. For me, being happy with your work is already a success.
