Job Summary

To do Performance Engineering in Sun JES Portal Server Product team. The
performance engineering team is a global team and being at IEC, the
engineer will participate with the development team at various locations
including IEC, deployment teams and various customer facing organizations.

He will engineer performance, run performance related tests for every
product release, debug regressions, consult on performance related
issues and participate in server sizing work

Job Description
As part of the portal performance team the performance engineer will
execute, and maintain process to validate/enhance the performance of
Portal Server product releases. Run performance benchmarks,
Debug/Analyze performance regressions, Help Engineer the product to
enhance the performance, Frequently interact with variety of remote
teams and will be involved with product Sizing and deployment

Must Requirements
1. Bachelors or Masters of Computer Science or equivalent
2. Be competent Java, J2EE (exposure to C is desirable)
3. Be fluent in at least one scripting language

Desirable Requirement

4. Previous performance analysis, performance testing experience is
desirable
5. Should have excellent collaborative and communication skills
6. Strong analystic skills and attention to technical details is critical
7. Should be interested in technical track for at least couple of years
8. Should be a team player and should come with a very healthy attitude
towards others
9.Experience in other Portal products in a plus
10.Experience in Sun Java Enterprise System Stack (Application server,
Web Server, Directory server, Identity server, Portal Server etc) is an
advantage
