Career First Consulting (www.career-first.com) is looking for talented Technical Writers for one of our leading clients in the IT industry.


Job Profile:

You will be responsible for:

* Producing and maintaining the User Manual, System / Technical Manual, Online Help and (sometimes) marketing documentation for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software products.

* Interact with software development team in a multi-country setup to understand the product functionality, and translate it into world class technical help online manuals, User Manual etc.

Candidate Profile:

* Experience of 2-10 years as a Technical Writer preferably in a software development environment.
* Excellent English (US) writing capability.
* Ability to understand functional aspects of Software Products.
* In past you have been responsible for preparing user, system and marketing documentation in English.
* Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and HTML Authoring tools, Opensource Software and well versed with MS Office Tools.
* Must be able to analyze issues and problems with minimum supervision, and come up with solutions.
* Understanding of technical writing concepts, standards, style guides and its application with document organization and structuring
* Ability to work independently in a global environment
* Good written and spoken communication (you are going to interact with US clients mostly) skills with a flair for editing/writing and good command over English, ability to work independently and a good team member.
