QA/ Test Manager Req : ERP Product based R&D Company, Bangalore Location

One of our client (ERP Global Product based R&D Company) has an immediate requirement for QA / Test Manager for their Bangalore location.

Title: Quality Manager


Responsibilities :

Manage a large Quality team with superior leadership and communication skills, and independence in decision making

Motivate the team members and build leaders within the team who can take complete end-to-end responsibility for product delivery

Organize test procedures and ensure accurate and comprehensive test coverage as well as 100% test execution as per planned schedules

Collaborate with Program Office on setting product release milestones and adjustments to SDLC processes to increase developer productivity while decreasing software defects

Collaborate with colleagues across locations for planning and operational activities

Educational Qualifications, Skills and Competencies :

Strong educational qualifications (Engineering majors from reputed institutes) with 10-13 years of relevant experience, at least 2-3 years of management experience

Experience in hiring and ramping up new team members

Exposed to all aspects of the SDLC, as well as customer support experience

Ability to handle changing priorities with sound diplomatic and negotiation skills

Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of commitment and responsibility

Hands-on automation testing experience using QTP, Winrunner, Loadrunner

Strong focus to drive the product quality to the zero-defect stage, and understanding on concepts like regression testing, functional testing, integration testing, system testing, performance and load testing

Experience in being part of a large-scale software development projects distributed across geographical locations

Optional Experience :

Experience in testing JAVA, J2EE, , JSP, EJB, Struts, ABAP based applications

Good RDBMS concepts

Capability Maturity Model (CMM) certifications on Quality processes
