Working in call centre

I am a M.C.A. M.Com.,B.Ed.,D.C.A., P.G.D.C.A. candidate. I also completed rashtrabasha praveen in Hindi and diploma in Hindi. I have higher typewriting skills in Tamil, English & Hindi. I want to work in a call centre. Recently I did IELTS test and got 6 bands. I want to work in a call centre with reasonable pay. I am working now. So, I want to attend interview in phone or online interviews. I have system at home. So, I can attend interview at any time. Can anyone help me regarding this? With this I attached my resume for your consideration.

Buddy if u want to get really good job to Call Center then u have to visti the call centers for interviews. Even if u give a telephonic interview they will again call u come to there place. The best Call Centers to work in India are
Convergys, 24x7, IBM Daksh. these call centers pay reasonably well. Try them.

hey.. how much do these call center pays, like would you convert it into the rate in dollars?

i am currently residing in the philippines, and several companies are putting up call centers in our area.. i just want to know the competitive salaries that they offer so i can go *job shopping*.

Ya sure , I dont work for them but many of many friends work there. According to them all the three mentioned Call centers i.e. Convergys, 24x7 , IBM daksh .. all of them are International Call center and ther pay is around 15000 - 25000 for Customer support that is ($300 - $500) per month and for Technical Support they pay 20000 - 40000 that is ($400 - $800) according to your expertise and your working ability. The amount they pay here is too a lot for ppl in India but i dont know that will it be adeuate to you or not as u are living in Philiphines.

considering the minimum wage here in the Philippines, that's quite a lot..

The value of our money here is quite low.. 1 USDollar = 50 Pesos..

my mother is a civil engineer with quite a reputation and a lot of experience but she only earns around 15000 Pesos (300 USDollars) while call centers may give entry-level graduates like me 18000 - 25000 Pesos if the figure they give there will be similar to yours..

im quite amazed that the value of each of our countries money is similar..

Ya, It is kind of our destiny , that most of the country in this part of world have same kind of money value against USD. That is also one main reason why Westerns are more outsourcing there work to these countries.
An average American's salary is somewhere between $1500 - $4000 per month and even that amount of money is less for them where as only $500 for and indian is much more. So they get quality work in less price.

They are usually ready to pay really well, thats why freelancing is a flourishing around the world.

Besides, mtajim, most people who outsource are Above-average, with a salary betweek 5K-10K/month and when its outsourcing from companies, the representative in charge is usually paid 15K-20K/month.

Thats why its so much fun to freelance

And as far as this thread is concerned... I'm really quite amazed that an individual with such exceedingly high qualifications would WANT to join a call center...

maybe she/he just wants a part-time job.. i know call centers are pretty open about people taking part time jobs..

Possible. But, my friend, dont join as an employee - you could fit in the management part well. I guess the pay would be about 10-15 times that of a normal employee, which is saying quite a lot.
