I am aware of VOIP technology. But I want to know is there any way by which USB devices takes its presence with VOIP technology.

Yes USB devices take its presence with VOIP technology making it portable. There are many devices and software available related to this. To mention few are myJabber Phone2Go, magicJack.The main highlight all these is there is no need to install the software on this system making the USB devices to take its presence with VOIP technology in a convenient and portable manner.
