Help Needed

Hello,
I was issued a 221g as the consulate officer(Chennai) need additional documents and asked me to submit them through drop box. I submitted the documents through drop box. After one month I received a letter from the consulate office that the documents sent are forwarded to fraud prevention unit and we will issue visa if they are not found fraud. Already one month passed and no information from the consulate. Where this unit is? I mean in the consulate itself or it was in US? How long it will take to finalize the case.

Hello there,

There is no need to worry since they usually take more then 4 weeks.... When they say 30 days, it's 30 business days but they will send prior to that....

It's not just you getting this kind of inquiry.. it's more like manual verification... there is no need to worry...
