H1 visa doubt - usa

hai,

for h1 - visa, how many years of work exp is required to go to usa. for applying h1 1 yrs of work exp is enough.



also what is business visa . how many years one can get busineess visa . can we change business visa to H1 visa.

after going to usa..i.e frist going with business & then can we convert to h1 there.

Hi,

If you have four year degree, after 10+2, then you can apply for H1 with one year IT experience.

So it is : 10+2+4+1 yr IT experience.

If you dont have four year degree, then you need to have 4+ yrs IT experience.

If you come here on B1 visa, then you can convert it to H1 visa.
Generally B1 visa will be given for a period of 2 to 3 months.

And to change the visa status from one to other, for eg, from B1 to H1, you need to stay for 2 months and then you can apply for H1.
That means, 2 months is needed for a status change.

It means that frist one can go with b1 stay there r 2 months & then apply . when entered into usa one has to apply for visa (h1b) .

is there any restriction on b 1 visasa like h1b ( i mean limtataion)...

I guess we dont have any limit on B1. I am not sure regarding this.
