Tips for graduates who were going for H1B Stamping
Hi OPT students,
Pls. find some tips given below who were going for H1B Visa stamping. Please make sure that your forms( 156 & 157) doesn\'t have any empty entries. Make sure to write \"none\" on empty entries. Otherwise you will be asked to move out of the queue and fill the missing entries. Also note that the DS-156, though its expired on Aug 31, they are still taking it as valid. Before you go to the initial counter, please read the notice board and arrange your documents in the order specified. You can expect the following simple interview questions: 1)When did you join your current employer? 2)In which University did you do your MS? 3)When did you graduate? 4)What did you do after graduation? 5)When did you come back to India? Please read all your companies documents before you go to interview--like how many employees, branches etc. The interviews seems to be easy for OPT H1 guys. The newbies H1 were facing a bit more \"technical\" interview. Documents needed: Apt Receipt, Passport, DS-156, DS-157, 2 Demand drafts, I797 original, I I-129, LCA, Paystubbs, W2, Tax Returns, Degree Certificate and finally the Offer letter of your current employer. In other thread, you can find some more interview q and answers. Best of Luck. Post edited by: vasu, at: 2004/09/17 14:02 |
