Hi ,
1) What is National Idebtification number in DS -156 form .. Can i leave it blank ? 2) Can i fill the DS 156 form with the manually (with pen) (OR) I should type the form and take the printout ? Can i fill whole form by typing and take the print out and do the signature? 3) Is it ok, if thesigantures are different in Passport and application ? 4) Photos of the U.S company and current working company are necessary while going for VISA ? I would be very thankful if you reply for my query. TIA Venkatesh |

Re:Regarding the DS 156 form and others
Hi Venkatesh,
1. National Identification number in DS -156 form should be left blank 2.You can do it either way-- you can manually type it or you can use PDF to fill in the form and print it out and sign it 3.To avoid any discrepancies or delays, i would advice you to have the same signature in both of them 4. I am not sure abt it but as far as i know, if you are appearing for a visa interview at any US consulate in India, then it would be handy. But, if you are already here and want to get it stamped in Canada or Mexico, then they wouldn\'t ask for the photos of your company. Hope this helps a bit, Aditya |

Re:Regarding the DS 156 form and others
Hi
1. You must not leave any field blank in DS-156. Please write \'NIl\' 2. Regarding Photos, the embassy (chennai) says the photos and the company balance sheets are must. 3.It is ideal to take a print out because , once u take a print out a Bar code is generated and it will help the embassy people to process ur application faster . |
