help about ds156 & ds157

hi,

Its a small doubt but I am very much concerned about it.Some fields in the ds156 & ds157 form are not allowing me to enter the exact length of the text which I intend to fill.The size of the particular field is fixed.What should I do know .Leave the fields with the half information which I have filled or is there any possibility.

Please Reply Its very urgent.
