Account Management on Linux
I have just set up my first linux installation. Now I would like to set up user accounts for my wife and my son (don't want them to mess through my stuff or to damage the system!). What should I do now? Thank you for your advices so far
this forum was really useful to understand everything so far! |

You could use the "useradd" command to add a new user, then the "passwd" command to set a password for it.
Either use "useradd --help" or "man useradd" to learn more about what you can do with this, and how to use it. Any more doubts, please ask ![]() Chaitanya |
