Edit schema

I know its not possible to delete a Schema in CRM 1.2 but is it possible to
edit - I have set the incorrect Type.

I have not published the customization yet.

it's possible to delete a custom field but not supported by MS.

Don't know a way to change the type only, think you have to delete it
and then add it again with the correct type.
