Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040216 creating quote revisions or invoices

Please help:

Using MS CRM 1.2 on W2K3, w/ SQL Server 2000 SP3a on same machine.

When I create a quote revision or an invoice, I receive the following
error (doesn't say much really...):

--------
Error Description: Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040216.
Error Details: Details on this error have not been provided by the
platform.
Error Number: 0x80040216
Source File: Not available
Line Number: Not available
Date: 11-09-2005
Time: 3:28:08 PM
Type: Platform Error (2)
Server: <crmserver fqdn>

Query String:
/SFA/invoice/edit.aspxid={C54F6044-747E-4149-AAD7-20C24FBE30B5}
-------

The system actually creates a $0 quote or invoice, but if you try to
open the newly created quote or invoice, you'll just get the same
error.

I've hit a wall, please, any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks,

Carlos Sanabria

Re: Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040216 creating quote revisions or invoices

Does the original have line items with a $0.00 price? If so, there is a
hotfix that should fix this. The problem is that when you open the new
record, it tries to recalculate the price and it errors out when it hits the
$0.00 line item.

Thanks for the answer Matt, but no, none of the line items has a $0.00
price....
