Spell check in V3.0

OK, why is this not a given for all MS products? How can they get us hooked
on spell check in word, outlook and everything else and then not include any
form of a spell check anywhere in CRM?? Please tell me this will be a
upcoming patch/service patch.

RE: Spell check in V3.0

Yes the lack of the spell checker and a suitable way of doing an auto
sign-off are two major functionality requirements that force the user to
effectively avoid the web based email altogether. A major dissappointment and
an incredible gap in core functionality that everyone expects, not desires.

Re: Spell check in V3.0

Hi Denzel, GregH,

We are currently working on a spell checker add-on for CRM 3.0. At the
moment we're finishing our freeware version that only checks emails and is
not configurable (well, you can set the language in the web.config ofcourse
.

We will put this version online by the end of this week, so keep an eye on
http://www.cwrmobility.nl, or our weblog at
http://www.cwrmobility.nl/weblog.

At the same time, we will open up a forum for the spell checker add-on where
you can ask your questions, requests, etc. If there's enough interest for a
more "pro" version, we'll consider releasing a pro version with web based
configuration options, managing dictionaries, etc. But we'll see, first be
sure to check out the freeware version

Regards,

Jeffry van de Vuurst

PS. We're also releasing our freeware MapPoint add-on for CRM 3.0 this week.

RE: Spell check in V3.0

Denzel and Gregg

I'm still in CRM 1.2 and have tried a few add-ons and found them all rather
troublesome.

BUT, see my workaround in my blog - it's very easy:
