Import of records
Hi, i have tried using the import functionality, but does not seem to be
working. The activity seems to be in the 'Pending' state all the time. At the same, it does not throw any errors either. I tried import of 'leads' with just three records; each having 3 coulmns...including 'LastName' which is a mandatory field for the Lead entity. Any suggestions on this ? Has anybody been able to successfully import any kind of records into MSCRM 3.0 so far? |

RE: Import of records
I am having the exact same problem. We just installed 3.0 last week. I think
this may be a change to a two-step process. Still trying to do some research. "Jij" wrote: > Hi, i have tried using the import functionality, but does not seem to be > working. Re: Import of records
Thanks for the info John - I had the same problem. Switched from a domain
account to a localsystem and it worked like a charm! Greatly appreciated! Yes I have been trying to import records and although I dont get the pending issue I think there are other issues in regards to data imports. If you import data via the "account" name and then include a "contact" mapped to the "primary Contact" field the import works but no data is entered into the primary contact field. So in our case we have 10,000 account names with no associated contacts!!! no very good for our sales force.......
