Insufficient Privileges
We upgraded to CRM 3.0. A user with a Customer Service Representative
security role is attempting to add a new account. However, they receive an error regarding insufficient privileges. I edited the security role to include full access on Accounts. They rebooted after this change and are still receiving the same error. What gives??? Please advise. Thanks! Cayla |

Not sure if this applied to 3.0, but I found it to be true in 1.2.
Sometimes, when changing security rights "on the fly", the security services would get hosed. I rebooted the CRM server to correct the issue and found that the user then had the rights applied. You might also try restarting SQL services rather than rebooting. |
