Port 5555

When electing to create a new web site when installing CRM it gets
installed on port 5555. This often has to be the case due to other web
sites running on port 80 e.g. sharepoint.

What is the process for creating an alternate alias for this? For
example, say I just wanted to reference the web site using http://crm
what are the steps that need to be performed in order to achieve this.

Every thing else is laid out quite nicely in the CRM implementation
guide but I do not believe this is discussed. I know this crosses over
into non-CRM specific configuration, but it would be very helpful if
the steps were outlined so they can be given over to the IT department
in a clear and concise manner. Thanks in advance.
