Auto incrementing attribute

Hi All
Is there any way to mention an custom attribute to auto increment.

Suppose say there is a custom field named Quote Code

say and let us assume that it starts from 1000000

Then for each and every quote should automatically save next Quote to 1000001

it is exactly like specifiying seed value in Microsoft SQL database

How can we do that here in CRM3.0?
