Hi,

Please help me solve the below error message. Its very urgent

RVTTH-445: subroutine ora-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error:character string buffer too small in package
RCV_seedevents_PVT procedure get_currencystatement-10 returned error

Symptoms
When you are trying to create a receipt, correction or return the following error occurs:
rvtptcontrol failed
RVTTH-446: Subroutine ORA-06508: PL\SQL: could not find program unit being called in Package RCV_AccountingEventsStatement - 100 returned error
Cause: subroutin.

This is happening when RCV: Processing Mode is set to Online. When the profile option is set to Batch, RVCTP fails with the following error:

Concurrent Manager encountered an error while attempting to start your immediate concurrent program RVCTP. Routine & ROUTINE received a return code of failure. Contact your support representative.

Cause:
Receiving transactions fail for Purchase Orders with a currency code longer than 3 chars. The l_currency_code variable in procedure Get_Currency was declared as VARCHAR2(3). It can actually be upto 15 characters long.
Solution:
This issue is fixed in RCVVRUTB.pls 115.30.11510.5 or higher. To obtain the fix, apply Patch 4443747 - Rvtth-445: Subroutine Ora-06502 In Package Rcv_Seedevents_Pvt or later .

Thanks Siva. But i have problem again. I dont have access to Metalink. Is there any other way i can get the Patch.
