Is there any reason or advantage of spreading multiple tablespaces across disks. If so can anyone mention the reasons.

tablespaces across multiple disk....is that what u meant?

oracle recommends spreading tablespaces across multiple drives so as to balance i/o load as well as to safegaurd from disk corruption issues.

The main benefit of spreading multiple tablespaces across disks is to Minimize disk I/O contention.
